These Hillman 1/4 in. ID x 1/2 in. OD Solid Shaft Collars are commonly used as mechanical stops, locating components, and/or bearing faces within mechanical systems. Shaft collars create a tight fit and greater holding power without the damage normally caused by set screws alone. Zinc plating offers moderate protection against rust and corrosion.
