The Mibro 5/8 in. NF Plug Tap is used for cutting internal threads. This heavy-duty plug tap is made from tool steel that is titanium nitride coated for reduced friction. Plug tap sizing consists of two numbers; the first number refers to the diameter of the hole being threaded, the second number states the number of threads per inch.
